  因为身为「使者」的学长的这句话，拥有天赋却不愿成为使者的女大生以柔，和有着七岁女孩外表，修行已千年的木精灵梧桐，就这样有了交集。
  奇妙的是，从此，以柔便不时接收到学校内外许多飘荡无依的魂魄委託。而代替他们完成心愿，却也使从小在育幼院成长的她，感觉自己不那么孤单。
  当然，多亏了梧桐在灵界的「各方人脉」协助，那些委託才能迎刃而解。还有，那位总是默默陪伴在她身边的他，总在最无助的时刻带来温暖。
